Meet the team
Bike Shop Team
Loves bikes, business, design and hanging with his family. He has been part of the local cycling scene for more years than he cares to remember. Being a local boy, he’s in most days.
General Manager - he’s tall, looks about 35 but he’s actually a 22 year old road racer on a gap year/s. He is usually found on the shop floor looking after our retail space. He can also be found leading our Rockets Saturday road ride and occasionally on the wednesday evening jaunt too.
Workshop Manager - Our ex RN can fix pretty much anything, plugs in your Di2, builds wheels and happiness. He has many years of mechanical and cycling experience so your pride and joy is in safe hands. Races time trials and drinks coffee, lots of coffee!
Administrative Services Officer - Can usually be spotted by the flash four wheels and big beard. In on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, He has a wealth of experience in the bike trade and looks after our stock and website.
Cafe Supervisor - Amber looks after the cafe and its team every weekday. She is responsible for all the lovely in-house salads and the amazing menu that we have on offer! She is a demon in the kitchen and makes a mean Pea soup!
Barrista extraordinaire - Chirs is a wizard on the coffee machine and creates works of foamy art within a cup. He has a mass of experience in coffee shops and has a great personality to go with it. You can’t miss him, he's covered in scribbles!
Rest Of The Team
The Cafe Team also has Max, Miles, Harry and Connor. They can be found on the odd weekday and on the weekends. They all have passion for great coffee, great customer service and bikes!
Jon has been riding and working on bikes for nearly 30 years and is a household name within the local cycle network. A long career of riding and racing both Mountain and Road bikes has left him with a wealth of knowledge and his honed mechanical skills mean he is the go to man in our fully equipped workshop.
Matt Joined the team in 2015 after leaving the Big-smoke in search of the sunny English Rivera! He worked for the well established Condor Cycles in London and has gained a vast amount of knowledge on road cycling. Rumour has it he is a bit handy on the bike with his racing stature and good looks!
Noosa-dog is part of the furniture, she's been hanging out in bike shops since 2011 and she's a firm favourite with the kids. She loves running the trails in Wareham Forest and walking the shop floor but be careful she'll have your cake in a blink of an eye!
